Welcome!
Huxtable Park is approved as a bushcare site by the Brisbane City Council.
The Neighbours of Huxtable Park Inc. have been been instrumental in maintaining the park since the 1980s. Recently they have joined with North Brisbane Catchments and the Brisbane City Council’s Creek Catchment Program to form a bushcare site that will restore native vegetation, protect wildlife habitats and improve the ecological health of the creek.
The Chermside West community will play an instrumental part in the success of this bushcare site as it requires locals to get involved, share skills, and work together to protect our park for future generations.
Everyone is welcome — no experience needed, just a love for our beautiful park.
